Silk Road The First Shock

The exchange of fabric became the first exchange of ideas and knowledge which lead to the formation of Silk Road. This was the first trade of its kind that brought the East and West come together at a point and that played a major decisive role in the passage to the modern era. With this came the exchange of not just Silk but also exchange of good ideas, beliefs and finally inventions that first shocked the world in a way which forced people to invent. It all started from the time of the Persian Empire where messages where first galloped until it reached far west. Later it became a need for such messages to be hand delivered and then came the Paper by the Chinese empire which was again re-invented many times later by other Europeans and the West. On the flip side these routes not only shared in goods and ideas but also disaster with exchange of diseases as well making the Silk Road a challenge to humanity to survive.

The Silk Route lived for the next 1500 years until the point ideas found new routes via the internet. That remained the second shock to the Silk Road where the same road that connected different civilizations 1000 miles away in the past through physical means has now instantly being connected easily through binary 1’s and 0’s. Both have transformed the way we communicate, trade and learn from different parts of the world. The legacy of Silk Road will remain a forever lasting legacy to this modern trade and global connections which plays a vital role for everyone to explore and learn.

In this journey, UAE stands to become the next stop on Silk Road for the exchange of knowledge and innovations and it is at this stop where miraculous transformation will originate and facilitate to transfer top-talent and top-notch teams when the world is in need.

Privacy exist only when you have information within closed boundaries or inside your network perimeter.Data does not become private as far it can be accessed on the World Wide Web (www) It all depends how you wish to secure information and to whom this information can be accessible and shared. The internet is a world class market place to get access to everyone’s details or information and it is the worlds market place to sell or buy. The potential of keeping things safe on the internet cannot be guaranteed unless you own the market place itself and decide who should have access to those information and how you manage to secure those information.

Technically speaking all data which exist on a LAN (Local Area Network) are the only one’s which is private and privacy makes sense, whichever network has expanded to WAN (Wide Area Network) is no more private rather a public network . The Internet is a place of information and not a place of data confidentiality. As long information exist on the internet, data is considered to be public with restricted public access. Data or information which is present on-premise surrounding is never pubic unless these information is kept outside the on-premise which is otherwise known as public network or Cloud. When i mean on-premise i mean a place within your vicinity or inside your company or inside your house.Data on cloud is outside the perimeter of data privacy and it is totally up-to the cloud host to keep information secure and it can be also called like a private cloud.The internet is a public cloud where information is not private.
